SCGIS hopes to continue to foster the creation and expansion of domestic and international chapters to support its mission globally. The chapters provide a way to get to know other SCGIS colleagues living and working in a particular geographic region; share work and ideas; and socialize. Visit the chapter profiles below to learn more about a chapter near you. Check out our events page often for information on chapter meetings and events.
If you are interested in starting a chapter in your area, please contact us or use the resources below.
Scgis is developing an international guidebook to provide the guidelines, steps and resources needed to begin a conservation gis group in your area. It has just been released as a public draft and your feedback and comments to Charles Convis at email@example.com are invited. Besides the draft guidebook, a draft chapter leadership guide is also available for review.
